Synopsis
This short doc focuses on Violet Maimbourg's journey to complete her most challenging multimedia art project yet.
Our Role
Sam approached Violet early in 2025 with the idea of following her process as she creates one of her unique pieces. Over the following months he showed up with a camera and recorded each step of the project in her studio at Kent State University.
As with many documentaries, this one evolved as it was created. The result is a heartfelt look at what it's like to be a prolific transgender artist in the midwest.
